I feel like all I'm doing is hurting my voice

Literally and Figuratively 

The shouts of protest raked against my vocal chords 

unactionable

Alone in the sea of hushed dispair 

Pepperspay the roars of rage delay

Chords rip and tear 

Derision

         Division 

                  DECISION. 

More than our fear

Beyond having our say

There we meet

We connnect

Facisim to beat

Community protect

There we meet 

We see and love

And stand above

Our defeat

There we meet

Hoarse and afraid

But glad to

 have stayed.

I dont need you swayed

Nor fears assuaged

I need a voice choice and a cause to rejoice.
