Language is an interface of reality. Every word we express goes from one person to another with the weight of the history (or etymology) of the word in order to convey a meaning.
What I have to convey to you with the words of this and coming blogs is a conceptualization of how I have learned to flow through reality.
"Reality is a co-constructed fabric
woven from strands of agreement"
-Tea and Tools for Existentialism Workshop
This is how society (or culture) works and changes: We Agree.
For example we agree men are men and women are women.
We agree to a picture of what that means. Call them strands or pixels but we collectively agree all thinking things like, "Yes I do agree, pink is feminine." And these thoughts form a picture of how to be.
But
In the same way, we DISAGREE and begin to form a different picture or reality.
Now, it takes Time, Influence (and in a capitalistic society, Money) in order to change the fabric of reality in noticeable ways for society or culture. Consider that sort of change to be on the macro-scale.
It is easy to become distressed by things on the macro-scale and begin to desire immediate changes.

So let's think smaller first. After all GREAT OAKS start from small seeds.
Besides... change doesn't happen like that.
It happens like Beavers and Glaciers.
Beavers make small instantaneous choices that redirect the flow of water.
Glaciers move steadily in a direction with continued force until the intention melts away.
Both shape our landscapes with lasting effect.
Funnily enough though, for the beaver, this is almost like a kind of play. Play is powerful and underestimated. When we unlock our play we can enter a space of creatively addressing challenges in a safe and fun micro-environment. The lessons learned there can then be applied to life, showing us where we can improve and giving creative inspiration for how to do just that.
SO
Play often
Utilize Curiosity Creativity and Kindness
Defend the Sacred
Stay Brilliant
